Why Tidy-Site Rules Exist

Parks set rules about what can sit outside RVs for several reasons:

• Lawn care: Staff need clear access to mow and maintain grounds.

What Is Not Allowed Outside at Magnolia’s Finest

At our park, items on or under the site are not allowed. That includes:

• Appliances, such as freezers or washers
• Furniture
• Sheds and storage boxes
• Trampolines
• Boats and trailers
• Umbrellas
• Clotheslines
• Tents
• Tarps and covers

Other rules also affect your site:

• No window AC units
• No foil on windows
• No space heaters
• No air rifles, BB guns, or fireworks

What Is Part of Normal Setup

Normal RV setup items are expected, such as:

• Hookup connections for utilities
• Sewer hose and support in use
• Leveling blocks and jack pads in use
• Your entry steps

Keep these neat and in good condition. Coil extra hoses and store them inside compartments.

Vehicles

Each site may have up to two registered, running vehicles. No parking on the grass or in empty lots. Keep vehicles clean inside so items do not spill onto the site.

Where to Keep Your Stuff

If items cannot go outside, where do they go? Options include:

• Inside your RV, organized with bins and hooks
• In basement storage compartments
• In your vehicle, such as a truck toolbox

Many residents enjoy sitting outside. Because furniture is not allowed on sites at our park, use folding chairs that you bring out when using them and store inside afterward. This keeps the site clear while still letting you enjoy the outdoors.

Ask management about grilling before assuming it is allowed. Never leave cooking equipment set up on the site, and never use outdoor grills inside the RV.

Laundry

Clotheslines are not allowed. Use the park laundry room, which has two washers and two dryers in an air-conditioned, cedar-paneled room.

Trash

Keep trash inside or in approved containers, and take it out regularly. Trash left outside attracts animals and pests.

Pet Supplies

Do not leave pet beds, bowls, or toys outside. Dogs live primarily inside the RV at our park and are never left outside unattended, so there is no need for outdoor pet setups.

Guests and Tidiness

Solid Surfaces Help

Lawn Care and Park Staff

The park handles lawn care. Keeping your site clear lets staff mow and trim efficiently. Do not drive on the grass.

Storms and Loose Items

Hurricane season runs from June 1 through November 30. Even without clutter, check before storms that nothing is loose around your RV. Retract awnings in high winds.

Maintenance Requests

If something at your site needs repair, use the maintenance request form on the Residents page rather than fixing park equipment yourself. Tampering with hookups is not allowed.

Subletting and Site Responsibility

A Weekly Tidy Routine

• Put away chairs and outdoor items
• Take out trash
• Coil hoses and cords neatly
• Sweep your entry area and pad
• Check for items under the RV

Review what you own every few months and let go of what you are not using. The less you own, the easier it is to keep both your RV and your site tidy.
