Covered RV Sites vs. Uncovered Sites in Texas

May 18, 2026

Eight of the ten sites at Magnolia’s Finest are covered. Two are not. Both types sit on cement pads. If you have not stayed under a cover in Montgomery County summer, the difference is practical, not cosmetic.

What the cover actually does

A metal roof over the pad shades the RV. The roof and slides take less direct sun. Afternoon interior temperatures rise slower. Storms still happen — this is not a building — but you are not sitting in open weather the entire stay.

When an uncovered site is fine

If you want a long-term spot and a covered pad is not open, an uncovered cement site is still a real site: level-ish concrete, the same gate, the same laundry, the same rules. Ask us which pad is which when you check availability.

We do not publish invented amp ratings or “resort shade trees” we do not have. See sites and rates and amenities.
